Sony Ericsson K850i MENGECEWAKAN

 K850i = Expensive piece of crap.


Akhirnya setelah satu setengah bulan, hape SE K850i ku kelar juga diservis...Yup, SATU SETENGAH BULAN. Blak-blak an aja aku ngomong, ini hape mengecewakan yang dibandrol seharga 2.850.000 (harga baru thn 08 - Red)

Bayangin aja ini sudah kali ketiga hape ku 'mengunjungi' SE Service Center - Denpasar dalam kurun waktu 2 bulan. Histori kerusakannya sih gak jauh beda dari rusak sebelumnya..yaitu tidak mau booting, hang, LCD blank, software corrupt, ketidakstablian firmware/OS, BROD (Blue Ring of Death). Untuk istilah terakhir, silahkan cari di Google.

HP ini merupakan seri tertinggi dari keluarga seri "K" yang dirilis Sony Ericsson. Tapi kestabilan OS atau software dan performanya - menurut opiniku - sangat mengecewakan. Kualitas kameranya juga masih kalah dengan saudara tuanya, K800i yang malah menurutku - lebih stabil dan tidak rewel.

Contoh ketidakstablian lainnya yang saya rasakan adalah kapasitas baterai yang amat rendah. Bahkan, dalam penggunaan normal, saya harus men-charge 2 x dalam sehari. Aneh memang, SE hanya memberikan baterai berkapasitas 930mAh untuk sebuah handphone dengan layar lebar, HSDPA, 5MP camera, lucu gitu loh, hape boros dikasi batere kecil..ckckck...



Kelemahan lainnya, suhu panas yang - menurut saya - tidak normal. Suhu hape tiba2 menjadi sangat panas saat menggunakan eBuddy untuk chatting, terutama dibagian keypad dan sisi bawah bagian belakang.

Yang saya beri warna merah adalah fitur-fitur andalan yang menurut saya menjadi keunggulan K850i. Sangat jarang ada hape yang bisa merangkum semua keunggulan diatas. Salah satu favorit saya pribadi adalah Xenon Flash dan Autofocus, dan penggunaan memory card yang jenisnya bisa dipilih sesuai dengan keinginan anda yaitu microSD maupun Memory Stick Micro (M2).

• Oh God! After 18 months and 2 days, my K850i is officially dead! I threw it around a lot a few days before it died. It doesn't start at all. Only the keypad and the blue ring around the camera lens are lit. I had the latest firmware. Don’t know wrong.

•  Yeah, very attractive but freezes often, slow to process key pad commands. Suddenly noticed LCD goes blank! Can’t read my messages or monitor phone operations. Please, what’s wrong with my phone just got it for less than 6months.

• I own these phone for about a year now..
  And it works great...even though I have other phones
  I only used this for Media purposes..
  And it supports 8GB of memory card..
  A lot of pictures to be taken..
  But what I really hate about it is the BROD
  time to time I have to restart mine, to avoid being BROD!
  Buy this phone if you have other phones as a backup in case of some of its faulty features.

• I charged my mobile for about 2 hours & it showed as fully charged. I did not even touch my mobile for hours but after that I checked my battery status, 15% of battery charge drained out. How can I maintain my battery charge? Please anyone help me..

Akhir kata, hape ini memang luar biasa diatas kertas dengan fitur-fitur 'killer' nya, namun mengecewakan dalam penggunaan nyata nya, khusunya masalah yang sudah saya sebut diatas tadi.
